Project Description:
The work consisted of treatment and improvement of the properties of weak soil using the Dynamic Compaction / Dynamic Replacement Method. The Soil Replacement Method (including excavation and backfilling) in addition to dewatering had been implemented in areas containing gas pipe-lines and life-lines as instructed by the Owner. The area of Jaber Al Ahmed site is about 975 Hectares and the site is divided into two parts by an asphalt road beginning at Road (80) and ending at the seashore. The eastern and western parts of the site comprise an area of about 370 and 605 Hectares respectively.
