Project Description:
Al Medina Al Almya is planned along the road connecting the two holy cities of Najaf and Karbalah. The site area measuring approximately 7,000,000 m2 is located at an equal distance from both holy cities. The city is designed to provide scientific studies on Islamic principles with separate facilities for education, recreation, spirituality and housing for men and women. Commercial areas planned within the city are to be either sold or rented to individual investors to generate income for running and maintaining the university. The maximum height of the building is restricted to three floors with one basement.
